Sport has always been an important part of my life, and I have been passionate about football since my childhood. At the age of 17, I played in the U21 NBII championship, and though I stopped playing football on a competitive level, sport remained a part of my life. I already dealt with sports law during my law school studies and wrote my thesis on the private law aspects of sports law, in which sports contracts, among other things, played an important role. I graduated with summa cum laude classification from the Faculty of Law of Károli Gáspár University of Reformed Church in 2020 and after that I worked for several years in a law office, where I dealt with commercial law and contracts covering the entire spectrum of private law and regularly participated in various negotiations. In the autumn of 2022, in the spirit of professional self-improvement, I started my studies of economic law at the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences of Pázmány Péter Catholic University, where I acquired an economic perspective in addition to my legal education. In 2024, I dreamt up the concept of Kingwood Sport Management Plc., when I realised that by combining my interest in sport, law and economics and using my related experience, I could help the players to conclude the most beneficial contracts for them from a legal and economic point of view, while taking into account the professional aspects of sport.

Sport and law are my two main areas of interest that is perfectly illustrated by my sport activity that I have been doing on a competitive level since my childhood and my PhD research focusing on the special aspects of the professional athletes' contracts. During my legal studies at the university, I was especially interested in contract law and business practice. So I began to analyse the sporting events and utilize my experience gained in the field of sport, which enabled me to gain a deeper insight into the regulation of the sports industry. I am constantly educating myself on the field of the professional sports. This is essential for me to be able to provide services of the highest quality to our clients considering the regulation of the sports industry.

I am Marcell Varga-Domonkos, co-founder of Kingwood Sport Management. Sports and football have been an integral part of my life since childhood. I, myself, played competitive soccer for several years, and it is still one of my hobbies. I graduated from the Budapest University of Economics majoring in Economics and Management. In recent years, I have had the opportunity to get to know and learn many fields related to my education at several large multinational companies. My profession and my hobby can thus intersect in Kingwood Sport Management. My goal is to provide our customers with the highest quality service.
